Marianne

Educational Consultant & Mindful Mentor

I’m a certified teacher with a Master’s in Counselling, blending educational expertise with a supportive, grounded approach. While my counselling background informs my work, the services I offer here are educational.

My practice is shaped by years of experience across multiple school districts and in a private school of the arts, where project‑based learning encouraged students to explore ideas creatively and collaboratively. Working in these diverse environments taught me how different school settings can either support or overwhelm a learner — and that insight deeply informs my approach today.

Throughout my career, I’ve supported many neurodiverse students and partnered closely with parents to create systems that help their children feel capable, organized, and understood. As a teacher, I’ve been part of the IEP process and understand how accommodations, communication, and collaboration come together to support a student’s success. I’ve also completed additional training that strengthened my understanding of learning, development, and executive functioning.

I’m someone who naturally brings calm to chaos — whether it’s a messy backpack, a confusing school portal, or a stressful academic transition. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that every learner deserves to feel confident, supported, and equipped with tools that truly work for them.
